Waksman crée lorsqu’il en a envie, avec ce qui lui tombe sous la main. Peinture à l’huile, acrylique, feutres, encre de chine, crayons de couleur, pastels gras, stylo à bille, aquarelle… il expérimente tous les matériaux sans dissocier l’art et la technique. Ses voyages dans l’océan Indien, le Pacifique, les pays méditerranéens et africains ont sans aucun doute influencé son goût pour les couleurs vives, ses dessins «art brut» ainsi que le style «cartoon» de certaines œuvres.

Waksman creates whenever he is inspired, with whatever he has to hand. Painting in oil, acrylic, felts, ink, colored pencils, pastels, ballpoint pens, watercolor … he has experimented with all these materials without dissociating art and technique. His travels in the Indian Ocean, the Pacific, the Mediterranean  and in Africa  undoubtedly influenced his taste for bright colors and  his “art brut » drawings as well as the « cartoon » style of certain works.
